Should have worked or handled all of the following states: Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu
Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Achieves regional sales operational objectives and targets by contributing to regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing sales audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
Meet the sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Bachelors degree from a reputed university
Exposed to Superior sales and management skills with accomplishments all through his/her career.
Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
Control and comprehend the activities of sales and marketing representatives.
Established track record in effective leadership talents which includes people development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leading the provincial or district sales manager and develop sales operation plans with the approvals of the senior management.
Should be capable of managing the region assigned to them to ensure proper sales. Responsible for achieving the client or activation targets of their specified region.
Create awareness of products, conduct training and seminars the sales team.
Excellent presentation skills
Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified region.
Experience: 15 -18 yrs with a reputed pharmaceutical company.
Travel: 50% per month or more
