Job Description

Market Development:
Taking care of the sales with focus on achieving predefined sales target and growth.
Identifying suitable markets for the product
Creating sales network as per the demand trend.
Formulate Market strategy for various states with the help of the team and track performance.
Oversee the sales promotion activities of various states and track performance.
Market analysis for identifying market needs.
Designing channel development strategies
Keep a track of the competitor strategy and make changes accordingly if required.

Distributor Management:
Plan the distributor & dealer network required for various states.
Guide the team on selection of the right distributor & dealer.
Review the distributor & dealer performance on an ongoing basis.
Develop good interpersonal relations with the dealer for fostering business partnerships.
Ensure proper after sales services by distributors & dealers by formulating SOPs and tracking their performance.
Resolve conflicts if any.
Keep a track of the inventory at distributor locations.


Sales:
Formulating Sales budget for the zone basis discussion with the management.
Cascading the sales budget for various territories with the respective Regional Managers.
Review & monitor performance of the states.
Head the monthly & quarterly review meetings across the zone.
Guide & motivate the team for achievement of sales targets.
Plan various sales related schemes for the zone.

Credit Control:
Recommend credit limits for the distributors and dealers basis the timelines & SOPs laid by the management.
Formulate the collection strategy for the states and share the regional targets accordingly.
Manage & review collection performance of different territories.
Resolve conflicts if any.
Co-ordinate with the Manager-Credit control for current & overdue outstandings.
Formulate strategy for faster collection of overdue accounts.

Team Management
Lead and manage the team of Regional Managers, Area Managers & Territory Execs across the zone.
Delegate and monitor periodical performance of the team and share feedback.
Resolve conflicts if any.
Train & develop team members for future growth.
Build & retain strong team.
Lead the team to RISE.
