Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
Act as a business partner Formulate the IT policy, strategy and procedures in line with the overall growth strategy of the business to ensure effective and efficient fulfillment of the business
Develop IT infrastructure enablement plan as per functional and business strategy
Contribute to business strategy by bringing in the IT perspective and ensure that IT is an integrated part of strategic decisions
Meet business expectations as per laid down priorities -- timely availability of resources/ technology to support business growth
Adherence to annual plan and budget
IT networks and assets in branches in line with defined TAT
Quality of inputs to strategic business plans that grow the business in value and volume terms
Ensure overall management and delivery of IT infrastructure, systems and policies at MHDI Develop and institute policies, systems and administrative procedures with respect to all aspects of IT
Develop and monitor achievement of SLAs for service delivery in IT through in-house and outsourced teams
Ensure compliance with laid down IT Policies and all applicable regulatory and software licensing norms
Plan and revise configurations for capacity as per need - manage rollouts of IT assets and projects integrating locations- sites and functions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates with strong academic qualifications (BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech) from premier engineering institutes (Additionally, an MBA would be desirable but not mandatory).
Strong analytical capabilities
Should have a good understanding of IT services delivery and strong project management skills with exposure to Insurance Operations preferably from Non-Life.
Ability to create project plans using MS project and keep track on a day to day basis of project scope, schedule, effort, risk and cost
Ability to motivate the team and provide technical inputs as required
Ability to influence and build strong partnerships with other cross functional teams
Ability to resolve conflicts independently
Ability to create vendor contracts and ensure SOW/contract compliance
Solid understanding of business organization and processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An effective communicator with strong problem solving & organizational abilities with demonstrated abilities in developing wide-ranging 'people' skills
Capable of getting into technical details and conduct thorough review
Assertive and able to manage conflicts
High energy levels and 'can do' attitude is essential to succeed in this role
Top Management Team and all Department/Functional Heads: To seek inputs on user requirements, frame policies, drive and coordinate IT programs, processes and effective implementation across operational teams and locations
Vendor & Alliance Partner Management to evaluate technology, products and services and conduct techno-commercial negotiations
Interact with CEOs and Top management of IT/Technology companies to keep abreast of IT trends, availability of support services, build and leverage networks
