Job Description

Role Description:

The incumbent will be based out of Bangalore and will report to the CCB India Ops HR lead, as well as partner with the CCB HR leadership globally on strategic initiatives. This individual will ensure that the Human Resources function delivers top class services to the business in a well controlled, cost effective manner. Additionally, the person in this role will ensure that all individuals performing in the HR team are properly skilled and managed. This individual will partner with the global team to ensure that the CCB processes are fully standardized and optimized, yet in compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Areas of Responsibility Include:

Responsible for providing strategic HR guidance for the CCB businesses in India.

Informs, interprets and advises aligned business managers on all HR-related matters, including reporting and analysis and clarification of policies and practices.

Assists in the development of a comprehensive talent development strategy and HR framework to ensure the current and future caliber of talent needed to support business success and growth planned.

Partners with HR colleagues across CCB businesses globally and locally to support performance management and annual compensation planning review to ensure recommendations are performance-based and in line with CCB and firm wide Total Comp philosophy and guidelines.

Influences and develops HR strategies and priorities to support business objectives to respond to changing business needs and expansion.

Provides guidance to develop the professional capabilities of the team

Organizational and change management skills and exceptional relationship management skills.

Excellent knowledge of strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, acquisition, succession planning and leadership effectiveness.

Global mindset

At least 10-12 years of experience in HR operations.

Financial and business acumen

Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and consensus building skills.

Strong internal control mindset.

Strong ability to influence outcomes and to leverage the JPM network of colleagues to get things done.
