Job Description

Job Title: CFO & EVP- Corporate Services Department: Corporate Services

Location: Mumbai Job Category: Senior Management

Background of this role

The role has been conceived to consolidate all corporate services like Finance, Accounts, Tax, Company Regulations, IT, Secretarial and corporate Compliances under one Head so that the bandwidth of the Managing Director is reduced dramatically.

Objective

To provide leadership and Managerial guidance to the above functions so that trivial matters are not escalated to the CEO

Failure of the Role Failure of the role would mean that despite the role, such matters do get escalated to the senior management

Structure
Reports to Managing Director

Direct Reports Heads of the following functions:

Finance

Accounts / Tax

IT

Company Regulations

Secretarial

Corporate Compliance

Indirect Reports Teams within the above functions

Grade / Level L1

Decisions to be taken

Job Responsibilities KRA's & KPI- s

- Oversee the Management on Finance and Accounts Function with respect to the expected deliveries and processes

- Provide the strategic insights and inputs on the function aligned with the business requirements

- Provide MIS and more importantly analysis of the MIS including dashboards and other metrics

- Improve the function and make it more streamlines and professional

- Implement review systems for the business including Monthly review meetings

- Highlight inefficiencies across functions and take corrective actions

- Budgeting, costing and cost controls

- Support the business on Finance related work including working capital, cash flow management and streamlining of payments

- Management and disposal/decision of issues which are needing next level support

- Regular internal audits and ensuring compliances with minimal variances

- Ensure smooth functioning of the function and ensure that minimal decisions are referred to MD

- Provide leadership to the function with the support of the external vendor

- Work with the service provider to achieve service excellence through best practices and processes

- Appoint and finalize new service providers/development companies

- Resolution of issues wherever needed

- Develop the budgets for application development, up gradations and maintenance
