Job Description

  • Ensure that the business attracts, develops and retains high quality talent, at all levels and on a global basis, in a continuous pipeline, to support the growth objectives, opportunities and strategies of the business and of Hospira on a worldwide basis
  • Build an HR culture and team that is proactive and anticipatory, viewed by its internal clients, at all levels to be absolutely expert, leading edge, confident, bold, thorough, strategic, effective and vital to the organization s success
  • Drive methodology for quickly assimilating acquired human capital into the culture and organization of Hospira in order to seamlessly support the strategy for growth
  • Play an active leadership role in the commitment to continuous improvement and be perceived as credible and capable of leading large-scale organizational effectiveness across the business and on a global basis
  • Play a leadership and design role in the continuing roll out of Hospira s articulated goals, values, vision and culture while encouraging entrepreneurial, bold and prudent risk-oriented business activities by leaders across the business
