The main duty of this role is to build and lead the team (of up to 9 FTE) that will be responsible for the below range of activities,
The person will be a proven people leader with the ability to motivate a team to deliver on a key set of outcomes.
The role holder will also be responsible for being the key liaison with the head of BMS and the head of Business planning, Headcount and Infrastructure
The role holder will be responsible for flexibly planning the teams work to ensure that deliverables are met in a sustainable way
The role holder will a be responsible for driving the compliance strategy and the BMS strategy within the India team and will be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of the BMS team
The role holder will be responsible for agreeing and driving continuous improvement within the team across the core processes
Experience in a banking financial accounting or MI team
Qualified accountant with a globally recognized accounting qualification e.g. ACCA or CIMA
Should have experience of or be qualified in standard project methodology i.e. Prince 2
Should have be involved in or have experience of process / improvement methodology i.e. six sigma or Lean.
