This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer, based out of the Bangalore, India and will be responsible for both onshore and offshore operations and is critical to Altisources aggressive growth strategy. The candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding Altisources position as a title service provider and develop the strategic vision for maximizing all title related products including insurance, escrow, searches, and closing services, among others. This executive position is ultimately responsible for the business strategy, P&L, and portfolio operations.
Domain capability building. Understand the product, help enhance the product. Expand and manage title services operations to include , escrow, closing , settlement services, title search, insurance, endorsements, survey, title commitments, filing, deed preparation, lien release and recondition, tax searches, flood certification and other title / settlement related services.
Work with Executive Management in developing the operating platform by providing constructive feedback with respect to systems requirements, personnel and staffing and other related topics
Process Leadership: help set up and improve the processes leveraging the firms diverse capabilities. Utilize technology and other best practices to streamline and increase efficiency and effectiveness of the operation
Relationship Management: build positive relationship with operational and senior leadership within the customers hierarchy. Work with clients to schedule the time, place, media, and financial terms of all engagements. Write and negotiate contracts with partners
Operational Management: manage people and process to deliver service to customers exceeding contracted levels and exceed customer expectation
People: Attract, retain and motivate a world class mortgage services operations team
Corporate: participate as required in key corporate initiatives to improve the firms generic capabilities.
Key Result Areas:
Lead and implement operational improvement projects through application of Six Sigma, LEAN and other quality engineering principles
Accountable for achieving defined investor SLAs, and negotiating with stakeholders on SLA definitions as market conditions and other factors warrant.
The ideal candidate needs to be a highly successful operations management professional with 15 plus of total experience with at least 5 years related to running offshore operations of a US title insurance company.
Strong preference also for a person with good knowledge of a variety of products in the market
The candidate must have the ability to utilize market knowledge to identify potential opportunities and negotiate transactions that complement the company's strategic plan.
The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to gain credibility with business partners.
Excellent analytical skills with an emphasis on sophisticated business analysis and modeling desired.
A three to four-year degree from an accredited university is required and a MBA is preferred.
