Managing a team selling a niche institutional real-time market data terminal targeted at the top notch institutional segment in equity and responsible for achieving the team target.
Manage a team of 4 AVPs - Institutional Equity across 3 cities.
Must have deep, entrenched relationships in the higher echelons of FIIs, top notch domestic & foreign brokerage firms and research houses, asset management companies, insurance companies, corporate sector, banks, and PE and VC Funds.
Identify leads, develop relationships and successfully deliver sales in a demanding environment.
Identify & develop leads from new and existing accounts, open up the account for the AVP, identify customer requirements, guide the AVP to meet client needs and successfully close deals.
The candidate must have significant experience in financial services/information product sales.
The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and should have in depth knowledge of the Indian equity market.
Deep understanding of the Indian equity market and basic understanding of the foreign exchange, bond, and money markets.
The individual needs to be highly motivated, disciplined, self- driven, passionate about equity sales.
The candidate must have working knowledge of at least one real-time market data terminal such as Cogencis, Bloomberg, Reuters, Capital IQ etc.
Selected candidates who are successful in this assignment will be on the fast track for a move to a senior leadership/managerial role in sales such as head of a vertical of geographical or even Head of Sales.
