Job Description

Technical/Functional 1. Good experience on SMSC,SS7 . USSD, SMPP, Switch, STP, Telecom and Networking fundamentals.
2. Exposure to ITIL based Support Ops, Advanced knowledge of SS7, Sigtran and Telecom or VAS Domain.
3. Should have good knowledge of protocols like SMPP, SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, TCP/IP, GMLC and Diameter.
4. Should have good experience of Fault Management, Change Management / Configuration Management, Problem management and Performance management.
5. Advance level understanding of VAS domain, SS7 and telecom concepts
6. Advance level understanding of Infra - H/w , OS, DB & Networking concepts
7. Outstanding in Client /Partner management.
8. Good knowledge on of SMS HUB, SMSC and SMPP based application.
9. Good project management skills, able to handle multiple projects.
10. Exposure in ITIL based processes.
11. Hands on NOC tools and process, Linux and Solaris in advance level
Behavioral 1. Excellent written and verbal communication Skills
2. Strong interpersonal skills able to influence and motivate.
3. Good Documentation Skills, able create, review and update technical SOP and knowledge documents.
4. Good Presentation Skills; should be able to conduct/drive internal, team, client and vendor meetings independently.
5. Ability to manage partners /client
6. 24X7 availability for team and client.
7. Should be able to work during off hours as required
General Abilities 1. Excellent working familiarity with NMS tools , Ticketing tools, SMSC, SMS HUB, SMPP , ILD, STP
2. A Self starter must be productive with minimal direction
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical, cross-functional environment
