Role purpose and contribution
The Technical Support Analystis responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support, system configuration, code migrations, security administration, together with environment management and administration of Aristocratsglobally deployed, 24 * 7, MS Dynamics AX application.
The successful candidate must be skilled in performing system monitoring and analysis and performance tuning; troubleshooting system software, operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing, and escalating application problems to vendor.
He or she should be skilled in assessing available technologies and presents architecture designs in order to improve ERP system efficiency, usability and effectiveness in support of core business functions (Financials, Sales, Supply Chain etc).
The candidate should possess the ability to deliver solutions design, development, maintenance and enhancements of the technical components of Dynamics AX, including building new MS Dynamics AX environments.
In addition, this role with work closely with developers and project team members on major system modifications and upgrade projects.
The successful candidate should serve as an internal consultant providing technical guidance to realise industry best practices; provide guidance and specialized technical knowledge to other Global IT department engineers and staff, ERP developers, analysts, users and ERP process owners.
The primary responsibility of this role is in the proficient and efficient management of the day to day operations of all MS Dynamics AX environments.
5-6+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics systems administration
1-2+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Dynamics AX installation and maintenance
Strong Dynamics AX Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience in ERP business processes
Management Reporter, AOT, X++ coding, security management
XPO deployments, enterprise portal configuration, service desk experience, SQL Server experience
Must be able to read and test code
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business and functional resources to develop sustainable business solutions.
Ability to document technical specifications.
Extensive working experience in installing, configuring, administering and refreshing AX environments.
Testing experience during all system and end user testing, including issue analysis and resolution.
Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Candidate must be willing to work varied hours, supporting Australian and United States business hours.
Some on-call support is also a requirement.
