Experience of 4 to 8 Years in the field of database support, preferably in Cloud setups, Large IT Setup, Mission Critical IT Infrastructure in Telecom/ Banking.

Experienced in Handling L3 / L4 issues with DBA O&M
Entire database support delivery including installing, configuring, maintaining, patching and supporting:
Oracle databases (9i, 10g, 11g etc.) including Oracle RAC.
Microsoft SQL Server
OCE/OCP/OCA Certified or Microsoft certifications
Support experience in large web-based & mobile-based database heavy applications in High Availability and Scalable Architecture.
Experience of Installation, configuration, patching, cloning and upgrading Oracle, MySQL & SQL Server databases on Linux, Any Unix and Windows as applicable.
Experience in Database clustering, replication etc.
Experience in supporting large-scale high-performance databases for applications including high transaction volume systems, Decision Support Systems, Data Warehouses, Mobile applications etc.
Good level of knowledge in Database design, Installation / Upgrade / Migration, Database health checkups, Backup, Recovery, Disaster recovery, User support, Change management, Documentation, Performance tuning,
Resource management, trouble shootings and Patch installation
Ability to perform both database and operating system performance tuning and monitoring, experience using utilities.
Deep hands-on experience with database clusters, including design/architecture, best practices, installation, troubleshooting, tuning, administration
Understands technology limitations/features, hardware, OS, n-tier components and interactions between all components. Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/ NAS/ DAS/ Cloud Storage) is desirable
Experience in Databases (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server), with terabytes of data in client-server, master-slave architecture.
Experience on Virtualization environment
