Job Description

Total Experience of 8 - 12 years BE or MBA preferred
Datacenter transformation, migration consolidation experience
DC Infra Solution experience of at least 2-3 years (prior SI project delivery experience is preferred)
Work closely with sales and presales team.
Willing to travel and customer facing exposure.
Hardware sizing for x86 and Unix servers (Dell, CISCO, HP etc) and storage and backup proposed in the solution.
Work closely with OEM Partners to qualify right fit products both from technical and commercial perspective
Working closely with the customers, business teams, Technical Solutions Architect and Program / Project Management team, to provide technical solutions
Size the migration/consolidation/new build effort required for the solution.
Design and develop solutions and execution steps for strategic infrastructure initiatives like tiered storage rollout, virtualization, cloud computing, new tools and technology component implementations and deployments.
Provide end to end solution document for infrastructure changes and put together a detailed plan of action for all components of an IT data center environment: server, network, storage, systems management, middleware, backup and recovery, messaging, unified communications.
Preparing the pricing sheet in accordance with the customers input.
Initiated pre-sales activities, consulting services and products Developed projects scopes (SOW, scope of work) and prepared proposals.
Provided product updates and technical advice to clients Explained technical capabilities and business benefits of solutions to the customer.
Worked with the sales team to develop the selling strategy within the target accounts Created and delivered effective presentations and sales tools for the sales team.
Performed competitive analyses of various servers and storage products.
Showcased drivers and value that supported the business case for the total cost of ownership to the customer.
Develop and manage strong relationships with strategic clients and partners
Work with vendors in the hosting, hardware and software area, shared the customer requirement and worked on the pricing and end state solution and ensured a technical advanced and cost effective solution.
