The Recovery Solution Architect (RSA) is responsible for development of the client recovery solution design
leveraging industry backup and recovery Best Practices.
In collaboration with the client and consultation with other RSAs, the RSA is responsible for the solution design which aligns with Best Practices and addresses client RTO/RPO goals.
The Recovery Solution Architect is responsible for technical leadership during client on boarding workshops and designing and documenting the disaster recovery client solution.
The RSA will lead technical engagement with the customers technical teams as well as members of the MRP Solution Architect Team, and other SunGard teams to gain a thorough understanding of the client Application Environment so that detailed disaster recovery technical strategy and procedure documentation is developed and used in subsequent DR Test Validation and Customer DR Testing.

Deep technical expertise across multiple technologies:
OS Recovery (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux, Windows, VMWare, AS400)
Backup Technology Recovery (TSM, Net-Backup, Commvault, DD, Backup Exec, Networker)
Virtualization (VMware ESX, Microsofts Hyper-V, VMM, & Virtual Server, Xen)
Application Recovery (MS Exchange, SAP, Oracle Apps, SharePoint)
Storage Solutions & Replication Technologies (EMC, Hitachi, HP, NetApp)
Solid working knowledge of network and systems design principles including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers. Infrastructure services recovery to include DNS, AD and other DS implementations.
Backup and Storage solutions to include physical and VM
Must have the ability to analyze technical documentation and identify gaps/risks
Strong writing skills to produce technical documentation is a MUST and ability to lead technical working sessions
