Job Description

Purpose of the Job

1) This position will serve as the primary lead for rollout, support & enhancement of Siebel CRM system and associated applications. The position provides significant opportunity for ownership of the Siebel system, as well as leadership regarding the strategic direction of its use within the organization.
2) Support business facing IT managers in delivering solutions for world class customer experience to stakeholders within as well as outside the organization.
3) Will act as deep-tech SME for BSS IT stack and shall be able to work closely with architecture/design and development teams to build most optimal solution.
4) Responsible to work with Program Managers across verticals, along with all internal and external stakeholders.

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

1) Lead migration from existing CRM to Seibel CRM.
a. Ensure seamless migration to Seibel CRM
b. Take complete ownership of the Seibel implementation.
c. Provide precise feedback to the integration and development teams from the design/technology perspective and overall customer experience expected from deliveries.
d. Responsible for adherence of architecture and security guidelines of the organization and application related frameworks.
e. Lead the developers and testers to foster communication between various stakeholders.
2) Review and ownership of Siebel development including business objects, views, screens, business components, fields, joins, links, business component user properties, drilldowns, and visibility configuration using Siebel Tools & Seibel Open UI.
3) Hands on configuration of the business services and workflows. Review and manage Siebel configuration, business services, eScript, Assignment Manger, Workflow Manager, Smart Scripts, and server administration
4) Collaborate with Business System Analysts for requirement handover for development and testing coordination
5) Cross functional perspective and strong program management skills: Requires coordination with internal stake holders and developing a structured development process and cross-functional team to ensure a world class customer experience.
6) Building strong relationships with partners: Build good relationships with partners and engage with right resources to match the organizations requirements and help partner's scale internal roadblocks to be drive our agenda and deliver projects.
7) Embrace a startup culture: Requires ability to work in a startup culture to drive agility, organization wide collaboration among cross functional teams, passion for technology and rapid development


Decision level

Prime: Final Decision Making authority, accountable to the Management

1) Seibel implementation process/methodology, tools and development/test environments
2) testing and project delivery
3) directly responsible for Low level design, code quality, performance

Shared: Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis
1) Complete synchronization with all internal stake holders like architecture and security team.
2) To be sensitive towards the business deliveries and ability to work with multiple stakeholders

Contributory: Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others
1) System Architecture / Product feature selection - Multiple architectures or feature configurations may be available for the platform. You will be the key person who will influence the need to balance between scalability, usability (customer experience), security, long term vs. short term advantages etc. while working in conjunction with the cross functional team

Must have:
Bachelor Degree of Engineering
MCA

Must have:
Minimum of 4-7 years of total experience
Hands on experience on Siebel modules, configuration, business services, eScript, Assignment Manger, Workflow Manager, Smart Scripts, and server administration
Experience with WSDL, REST, SOAP & JMS
Siebel implementation with a Telco will be an added advantage.
Desired Profile Must have
