Technical support of the SharePoint & K2server environment, 3rd party solutions and the applications residing on these servers.
Monitoring and troubleshooting the servers and the corresponding applications.
Checking the Events for recurring Errors and Warnings in the Systems Log and Application Log.
Assuring that environment documentation is up-to-date and assuring business continuity plans are being tested regularly.
Responsible for schedule, test, and implement enhancements or new releases of the server Operating Systems.
Ensure complete and accurate backups of the SharePoint Farm happen on a regular schedule. Design and test DISASTER RECOVERY plan to meet SLA.
Responsible for ensuring SLA availability and performance.
Work with system engineers and suppliers to solve complex issues.
Work with system engineers to understand and implement IT infrastructure designs and roll outs.
Participate in design and implement of a Governance plan.
Maintain a change management log for the production environment.
Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the SharePoint environment including roll out and upgrades.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a minimum of 4 years experience in SharePoint administration (SP 2010 / SP 2013) and 3rd party SharePoint software which includes K2 blackpoint & blackpearl.
Must have 3+ years of project work experience.
Must have a fundamental understanding of application administration: installation, patching, deployment standards, monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and custom coding.
Hands-on experience and willingness in designing and troubleshooting in the area of expertise.
Provide technical support for the SharePoint infrastructure, responsible for building and maintaining server health and functionality on SharePoint Front End servers and SQL backend servers.
Build and maintain SharePoint service applications which include: Search, Secure Store, Reporting Services, User Profile Services and Managed MetaData.
Deploy and support 3rd party SharePoint software (e.g. Metalogix Site Migrator).
Should be able to Develop and document basic and advanced SharePoint artifacts, custom fields, workflows (Designer), forms (InfoPath), custom lists and views, content types, etc.
Should be able to Develop and document basic and advanced K2 solutions.
Should be able to Develop and document custom .NET/ASP.NET. based solutions including webparts (but not limited to).
