Job Description

Experience in HP OMi,OMW HP BSM tools implementation with hands on experience in one or more of the following domains Monitoring, Event Management, transaction monitoring, integration, etc

Strong knowledge of the HP products components such as , HP OMi, HP BSM with BPM & RUM functionality, etc.

Strong knowledge of architecture, databases, reporting tools, middleware, security, monitoring and high availability systems

Experience in Integrating HP OM with OMi, HP SM, uCMDB and other third party products such as Solarwinds. SCOM, etc..

Adherence to the system management procedures and processes during testing, implementation and rollout of Systems Management/ Event Management tools.

Adherence to Managed Operating Environment process and procedures.

Provide regular project/task status updates to the team, team lead and Manager as required.

Escalate problems as per team guidelines to Team Leader and/or manager

Must have worked hands-on on application enhancements and extensions

Requirements analysis/documentation for application level functionality tailoring/customizations

Monitoring, Supporting and Troubleshooting on the different issues related with BPM & RUM components of HP BSM.

Examine & support for Parsing failed and Event storms issues happening.

Prioritizing, Planning, Resolving and tracking of Tasks, migration, Work requests, Maintenance activities.

Technical certifications in 2-3 of the HP tools

ITIL certifications such as ITIL V3 Foundations will be a plus

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Provide technical support to project\account. Own and action requests for service, implementing changes and resolving assigned problems (may involve some after hours and weekend work).

Escalate product problems via official product support line (HP Brand)

Attend and actively participate in weekly review meetings with the team leader and/or manager to discuss issues, concerns, people, ideas and workload. Be a focal point in a technical and client advocate capacity and ensure other team members are mentored to enable smooth succession of previous account.
