The resources will work according to a DevOps (development & operation handled by the same resources) model (European business hours 8:00 18:00i.e. 12:00PM - 10:00PM IST).
Here are the activities to be handled by the resources:
JIRA workflow updates or additions (change in workflow, graphical user interface, custom fields addition, etc.)
JIRA administration tasks (such as account creation, roles and rights modifications, etc.)
Customer support in using the JIRA workflows (answering customer requests through the ticketing interface of Client support management system)
Data management tasks (being able to manually load missing data into the database using some provided sources and tools provided by Client)
Data extractions (ad-hoc reporting from the database through an SQL query and export into a CSV file)
Very good knowledge of JIRA configuration, administration and trouble shooting (being able to provide some recommendations for improvements)
Good knowledge of SQL and common database management tasks (create/update/select). Knowledge of MySQL is a plus
Knowledge of UNIX as a developer (SSH, sFTP, navigation on the file system, copy/move of files, search of files, etc.)
Knowledge of Java (for scripting JIRA and JIRA custom fields development)
Basic knowledge of Maven (component management tool used for the packaging of the components of the platform): being able to run a maven build and identify the most common issues
Basic knowledge of SVN (subversion), being able to commit some modifications into the configuration management system.
