Minimum 5+ years of working experience and at least 3 in supporting customer on HP UX
Able to handle most of basic to advanced calls in User, group management, system startup,
service modification, crontab entires, ACL modifications, file system management,
root & ignite backups.
Should have used any backup management software i.e. Legato, Net backup, TSM,
VERITAS, Omni back etc.
Working Knowledge of MC Service guard cluster /SUN /Veritas cluster. MC Service
guard cluster would be added advantage.
Should have working knowledge in performance tuning, clustering etc.
Should have used any proactive monitoring tools i.e. Openview, Tivoli, Big-brother
Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness with good spoken and written
communication skills, team working skills & require shift operations.
Ability to communicate technical contents and vendor management
Able to co-ordinate installation & Configuration of HPUX Operating system with
Good process knowledge in call login, tracking, closure procedures. Knowledge of

Adhere to SLA response and resolution times and ensure cases are regularly updated.
