Job Description

Role / Responsibilities:


Act as Subject Matter Expert for Social Collaboration portfolio of products
Consult with customers on Connections & other related products like Portal/WCM etc
Assist customers for specific issues, problem solving for Portal/Connections
Support Sales team for proposals related to Social Collaboration
Troubleshoot issues related to Portal/Connections
Ability to Install, Administer and Configure Portal/Connections servers
Solutioning & over all technical architecture / design for large scale enterprise deployments
Integrate Portal/Connections with other products
Connections customization / Portal development
Ability to customize and build applications for Connections
Work on infrastructure related activities (setting up the server, configuration and administration) on Connections
High level understanding and work on performance tuning and production go-live activities

Prerequisite:

Customer interactions and consulting skills
Hands on skills on Connections 4.x and above; Portal 7.x and above
Basic infra skills on servers (AIX/Linux/Unix/Windows)
Integration with Collaboration suite of products (Notes Domino, ST, other WCM / Portal Servers)
Problem solving skills on Portal/Connections
Product setup, configure, fine-tuning skills
Business communication & Documentation

Experience:

6 to 10 years of Work experience.
5 or more years of hands on experience on Web development / portal development, Connections customization, administration and configuration.

Required

At least 6 years experience in Hands on development / Customization
At least 2 years experience in Infra skills (Product setup, Congifuration, Finetuning, Adminstration etc)
At least 3 years experience in Development / Integration skiils
