Job Description

Managing the elements of working capital within its control to improve gross margins by ensuring effective management of supply chain, inventory procurement and logistics.
Obtaining the measures, reviewing and creating actions to ensure India Inventory value, turnover and relevance is contributing to business results
Identifying slow moving inventory and options to release this inventory through the sales teams
Establishing 3rd party Logistics options, costs and contracts to support the market teams with delivering goods and services to their customers in a timely and cost effective manner.
Expanding use of direct vendors where it contributes to quick and cost effective delivery of goods and services.
Ensuring effective and timely management of orders and movement of goods to customers with invoicing and regular billing status updates
Manage third party supplier relationships and drive for continuous improvement on quality and delivery whilst maximizing cost benefits.


To Support the India teams planning and execution of deliveries to locations specified by customers and in accordance with contractual agreements.
Oversee and manage the team leading the process of sales orders in full cycle from order entry to invoicing, including payment follow-up, with accordance to Company guidelines and policies

Supply Chain

Manage the reporting of inventory levels and prepare inventory reports and analyses with a view to identifying actions necessary to ensure regional inventory is minimized and inventory turnover continuously improves.
Manage the re-allocation of slow moving inventory.
Plan and manage the cycle counting process for all inventory
Ensure service providers offer reverse logistics solutions
Manage returns and failures ensuring root cause analysis is in place.


Collaborate where possible with the Operations Procurement staff to qualify a list of preferred vendors for purchase of recurring supplies.
Select the preferred third party suppliers for the fulfillment of sales and programs where non-factory finished goods are required. Ensure that the regional teams have a process to select from third party suppliers that contributes to the grow margin of our sales and does not compromise the quality of our delivery.
Monitor and review the performance of selected third party suppliers regularly and where necessary provide them with feedback to continue or improve.

Candidate Profile

BS or MS required in Engineering or Science discipline. APICS certification an advantage.
Demonstrable experience of the management of supply chain or logistics function and evidence of the delivery of measurable improvement in performance.

Well-developed understanding of SAP with specific detailed implementation, change and operation experience of pick, packing and shipping processes of SD and MM modules.

Well-developed experience of international logistics and experience of working closely / partnerships with large multi-mode logistics companies.
