Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products.
Working with the internal team for new product development to suit market needs and trends
Annual business planning and budgeting
Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
Working closely with the company's Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentation.
Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team.
Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team.
Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization.
Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelors or Master's degree in Marketing.
Experience in Lighting and/ or communications Industry -
Desirable but not mandatory
Experience of working in Government (B2G) and Institutional (B2B) roles with knowledge of ways of working, brand approvals, empanelment, tenders, spec-in.
Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
Should have technical strengths in addition to being able to create and manage a product line business
Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
Critical Thinking, Project Management, Analytical Skills, Holistic Approach and Technical Skills.
The candidate must have leadership qualities and proven experience of starting a new product line business and growing it.
