Job Description

The Senior Manager - Cashiering, is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment application, the tracking and implementation of automation initiatives, Oversight and governance of all Cashiering related functions, IRG / Audit / Compliance and Regulatory responses and remediation

This position will report to the Director, Cashiering


Oversee the management of 100+ associates to ensure accurate and timely payment / payoff applications
Evaluate processes and implement adequate controls where necessary
Provide strategic input to improve efficiencies, quality and productivity
Deliver effective dashboard and operational reporting to Senior Management and Ocwen clients
Oversee daily control reporting and perform periodic process diagnostics to ensure no internal or external audit findings
Liaise with other departments to ensure transaction requirements are met in a timely manner
Support Lockbox and other automation integration efforts through REALServicing
Complete ad hoc projects when so required
Triage customer complaints / inquiries, perform root cause analysis, determine resolution and successfully execute each month

Key Result Areas:

Ensure absolute completion of all Cashiering workflows on a daily basis
Ensure audit responses are provided and remediation implemented without the need for timeline extensions
Monitor IRG and NMS test results and develop root cause analysis and recommend remediation plan
Respond to all compliance and regulatory requirements in a timely fashion
Successfully develop and execute strategic goals for Cashiering
Ensure quality assurance score yield for Cashiering is greater than 99.5% each month


MBA Graduate (Tier 1 business school) with a strong financial or operational background
7 - 9 years of management experience within the Industry (Preferably Mortgage; Cash Management and Finance Industry experience can be considered)
Excellent communication skills, Proven Leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Sense of urgency while paying specific attention to details and maintaining accuracy
Advanced computer awareness and the ability to adapt to changing technologies
Advanced level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, with special consideration related to Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook.
