Job Description

Objective / Purpose of duty:

Responsible for solution delivery, meeting defined expectations for functionality, security, performance and deployment

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for completion of project milestones and customer deliverables as per committed cost, timelines and quality standards
Collaborate with Technical Architect and Delivery Manager for detailed requirement assessment and solution design
Creates detailed design documentation and participates in internal and customer reviews
Details and manages the project plans with inputs from the Delivery Manager
Participate in code creation activity and ensure appropriate usage of development tools and processes, including source code management
Tests the applications and manages defects
Ensures appropriate development and test environment for the applications
Responsible for ensuring Resource utilization > 90%

Supporting responsibilities

Performance Management of the Business Analyst
Mentors team members (Developers, Business Analyst) to improve their technical competency & skills
Build Functional knowledge within the team
Works with Technical architect to build reusable modules and frameworks
Interaction with QC, vendors and service providers

Qualification:

B.E./ B. Tech / MCA/ MBA from a recognized university

Experience:

Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Business systems development and implementation
Exposure to project management techniques

KNOWLEDGE:

Sound knowledge of Software Development Methodologies (Scrum, Agile etc.)
Sound knowledge of project financial management
Good Knowledge of MVC
Sound knowledge of ASP.Net/ VB.Net/ C++
Knowledge of Java/J2EE architecture will be added advantage
Sound knowledge on the Information Technology industry trends

Analytical Skills: Uses a range of techniques to systematically break down complex problems or issues into component parts to reach a solution.
