As part of our Cloud Services Policy Controller team, you will lead the industry in using Network Function Virtualization (NFV) solutions to design and implement next generation cloud services for deployment in ISPs worldwide.
You should be passionate about virtual environments and contributing to the development of open standards.
You probably run an open-source OS such as Linux at home and regularly use tools such as KVM, Docker, OpenStack, etc in your own setup.
As part of the team, you will design, develop, test and maintain a variety of open source and proprietary software that runs in a virtual Linux environment while making a name for yourself in the emerging NFV and SDN fields.
Work with our global team to design and implement software using latest tools/languages
Implement scalable high quality, high performance code
Bring great solutions to the open-source community and bring the best from that community into Sandvines open-source based operating system.
Debugging and troubleshooting problems in test and in production
Qualifications (Mandatory Skills):
BE or ME (or equivalent degree) degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Excellent programming skills in one or more of (C/C++, Java, Go or similar languages)
Experience with Linux system configuration, OpenStack, Amazon AWS or other cloud computing infrastructure and service orchestration
Experience with Virtual Machines, Network Functions Virtualization, and Software Defined Networking
Experience with open protocol standards such as Diameter and/or REST interfaces..
