University degree in Software Engineering or related subject (e.g. Computer Science, Information Science, etc.) is preferred.
Defining and creating business solutions using SharePoint online, Office 365 and other Microsoft products .
Required Skills & Experience :
Subject matter expert in SharePoint Online, 2013, 2010, and 2007 with at least 3 full project lifecycle implementations
Experience of SharePoint remote APIs
Experience developing with the SharePoint app model
Experience of ASP.NET MVC
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Azure especially Platform as a Service elements such as Azure Web Sites, Azure SQL Database etc.
Have previous experience in SharePoint Migrations & SharePoint Upgrade
Experience of core SharePoint server-side development techniques - such as developing timer jobs, event receivers, web parts, content types, deploying master pages and other assets, and packaging artefacts into SharePoint Features and Solutions
Experience with advanced SharePoint workflows, forms, web parts and event handlers
To plan and execute development activities, so as to bring SharePoint BAU (Business as Usual ) Activities and Projects in on time
Analyze functional and non-functional requirements, and create appropriate technical solutions to meet the overall business goals
Create artefacts such as code, script and markup to deliver required functionality
Conduct testing activities to ensure quality artefacts are delivered
Perform code reviews of other team members work
To work independently on delivering full development life cycle solutions, escalating any issues to the appropriate people
When required, perform trouble-shooting activities to diagnose and debug problems with applications
Maintain in-house development artefacts and Intellectual Property, such that development projects run in an efficient manner.
