Job Description

This position Reports to AVP or VP Client Services
Travelling High. This position will be required to travel to client sites throughout India and possible IMEA.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining post-sales relationships with large enterprise Clients (strategic channel partners) and their enterprise customers (e.g., large banks and online companies).
You will serve as the Project Manager to ensure successful implementations of companies products & solutions and as an account manager to ensure that the Clients and customers serve as a positive reference.
Key measures of success will include software solution deployment time, Client ratings of you, end customer ratings, revenues delivered from your deployments, number of complaints (or lack thereof ;!).
Continuously monitor, track, report and govern the projects for successful completion on time and with efficient cost.
Develop, review and track deployment plans for UAT, Production and Upgrade implementations
Assist in developing, reviewing SOWs and technical deliverables for engagements
Work closely with the sales/pre-sales team in providing inputs for stronger client engagement in the sales cycle
You will become the customers primary point of contact for all of Appnomic representing Appnomic to the Client and end customer. You will also be the Client/customer champion within Appnomic.
You will manage a cross-functional project teams, which could consist of Implementation Consultants, Solution Engineers and Product Managers.
Manage, triage, prioritize and drive successful resolution of competing requests across simultaneous client engagements.
Provide clear and constructive product feedback to Product Management / Solutions teams based on customer requirements. Do not let product gaps interfere with successful deployment and use of currently available product through constructive negotiation with Cient / customer and internal Appnomic stakeholders like the sales organization.
Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire product line AppsOne and OpsOne.
Help to document best practices in deploying solutions.
Function as a front-line technical resource for best practice and informal customer questions.
Guide technical team for best and efficient implementation of companies software.
Strong Project Management skills preferably PMP certified
Strong exposure to business applications running on multiple platforms of Unix & Windows
Good software development or scripting/programming experience and knowledge
Good exposure to RDBMS
Good experience in working with Microsoft Project (or some similar product) for project management
At least 7+ years of experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant, enterprise software solution post-sales project manager, or similar positions.
Proven experience deploying and supporting complex enterprise software solutions for demanding end customers.
Experience working in a mid-sized or small organization where processes and infrastructure are still to be developed and matured versus a large enterprise with lots of services and infrastructure
Experience at large enterprises will be helpful so the candidate knows how to navigate the Client and end customer organizations to achieve objectives.
Career progression at prior employers is a requirement. Prospects who solely have bounced from company to company with 1-2 years at each will not be considered. Of course, some bounces like this can reflect a risk taking, entrepreneurial candidate. The candidate MUST illustrate career progression with at least one prior employer for at least 3 years.
Proven ability to communicate clearly and efficiently what is going on with accounts to senior executives at both Clients and within the company to achieve improvements in business performance.
Proven experience with creative problem solving resulting in excellent business results. MUST be able to share examples of this capability.
Proven examples of persisting through and succeeding in challenging business and service delivery situations.
Exposure to one or more of the following business domains (Must have managed a client in any of the domains listed below, in the career history): Banking / Financial Institutions / Ecommerce / Manufacturing.
Excellent project management, workgroup management and enterprise client facing skills.
Ability to understand Application architecture and associated business / IT Operations workflows.
Good exposure to workflow automation tool(s). At least must have worked as a user to a Service Desk / workflow / Runbook automation tool (CA / BMC / HP / IBM etc)
Good Exposure to scripting / Programming / Tool Customization
Understanding of IT Operations (IT Infrastructure and Application operations)
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands
Ability to interact and communicate with CXO level personnel
Ability to learn an adopt to new technologies
Valuable additional experience, although not required:
Experience with Finacle retail banking software.
Should have exposure to IT Services / Infrastructure or Banking / Ecommerce / Manufacturing business domains.
Experience with two tier channels where the end customer is a customer of a company Client (for example, in this case, company is serving end customers of our major IT services clients).
