Define and size market segments and evaluate loss of opportunity (win /loss review).
Formulation of product portfolio and strategic roadmap aligned to business goals.
Maintain a status dashboard for all portfolio products to ensure timely delivery.
Ensuring timely availability of material for production
Reduction in freight (shipping, air), CHA & other overhead charges
New suppliers identification, development to meet department targets
Cost reduction through negotiations and alternate sourcing
Meet department targets for inventory days, ageing, obsolescence
Prepare "Material Procurement Plan" for all factories.
Ensure timely ordering and shipments for all plants
Ensure Factory Sourcing team follows Sourcing SOP, Guidelines/Policies
Vendor Quality Improvement
Coordinate with China Office, R&D, QA teams to ensure timely development of new models/items
Supplier capacity planning considering company mfg targets and sourcing strategies.
