Job Description

    1. Accounting:
    a. Exercising full financial control and maintenance of the division
    b. Supervising overall financial performance by providing timely financial analysis; highlighting monthly performance & key variances and recommending immediate corrective actions to improve cost efficiencies.
    c. Controlling the General Ledger activities by scrutinizing the ledger accounts periodically and ensures compliance to the Corporate Policies.
    d. Handle internal / Statutory Audits, liaise with Auditors for timely completion of audits of Real Estate vertical.
    e. Finalizing of Balance Sheet of Real Estate vertical.
    f. Responsible for project/construction accounting and should be conversant with accounting policies/principles associated with the same
    g. Accounting for fixed assets purchased/sold/transferred, preparing fixed-asset register. Maintaining ledger accounts as per corporate chart of accounts, creation/deletion of cost centers.
    h. Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable process which would include intercompany transactions if any.
    i. Supervising payments related to employees, vendors, inter-company and receipts pertaining to employees and inter-company complying with company policies and procedures.

    2. Direct Taxation:
    a. Compliance with Corporate Income Tax matters relating to Advance Tax, Transfer Pricing, Annual Return, Certification, TDS, Assessment Proceedings, Departmental Correspondence, Appeals, filing of tax returns.

    3. Indirect Taxation:
    a. Compliance with Commercial Tax Law, Customs & Excise Law matters relating to returns, Certification, Assessment Proceedings, Departmental Correspondence.

    4. Legal Compliances:
    a. Liaison with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Income tax act, STPI, Customs, FEMA, preparation of Final Accounts, coordinating with Senior management.
    b. Coordinating the company secretarial functions review to ensure compliance to the Companies Act.

    5. SAP Coordination :
    a. Work as Core Team Member for Finalization of SAP Processes & Assist in SAP Implementation.
