The role is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to organization's HR compliance agenda, ensuring alignment with and reinforcement of Company Core Values and Code of Business Ethics.
he role is primarily focused on four areas:
Labour Laws/ statutory compliance
SE Matters and Investigations
HR Internal Controls and Audit Compliance on labour laws
In addition, this role will be the HR point of contact to assist in ensuring awareness and compliance.
This role reports to the India ER Policies and Stat Compliance Lead.
Work closely with leaders inside and outside of HR to define organizations position on a variety of HR compliance topics (i.e. data privacy, information management, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements and penalties).
Responsible for Internal Controls (SOX and company based controls), liaising with HR teams as appropriate on audit participation, status and action plan management.
Accountable for ensuring that policies and controls that put organization at risk are implemented throughout the GU in a timely and accurate fashion
Represent the HR compliance agenda on cross-discipline initiatives and committees.
Serve as liaison to internal and external legal department on compliance matters as needed.
Act as HR point of contact to other functions, such as information management and data security, to help create awareness of policies and programs and ensure compliance.
