Job Description

Qualification : Graduate in Electrical Engineering
Experience

Minimum 10 + years in sales & marketing of Electrical Products / Projects
Experience in MV, LV Switchgear, Power & Distribution Transformer & OHL Equipments.
UPS knowledge will be an added advantage

Main Job Deliverable :

Responsible for meeting budgeted targets / P&L for the department
Lead the team & motivate them to achieve yearly sales targets & division objectives
Understand the market & identify gaps & opportunities in the market
Develop innovative products & solutions & convert gaps & opportunities into business
Meeting & relationship management with all customers, consultants & principals
Following projects from time they are announced.

Skill Sets:

Technical Competence : Sound technical knowledge of Electrical
products like LV & MV Switchgear, Power & Distribution Transformer, OHL Equipments etc.
Sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals & electrical systems & products

Contract Management :

Should have sound knowledge of contracts
Thorough knowledge of commercial Terms & Conditions

Good negotiation skills

Should be in a position to identify the risk involved in the contractual terms & protect , those risks while bidding
Sales Management
Product Development
Formulate annual budget & sales forecast
Guide & support his subordinates & ensure closing of orders without compromising on margins & company favorable commercial terms

Communication

Excellent language & communication skills in English
Arabic would be an added advantage
Effectively articulate companys interest to customer.
Effectively communicate with other project partners like vendors, contractors, down line & up line.

Problem Solving

Effectively able to solve problems related to project sales.
Able to look ahead & anticipate problems & issues & act proactively to resolve the issues.

Relationship Management

Ability to maintain good relations with Customer & other project partners without
compromising interests of the company.
Ability to work as a team with colleagues in the department

Decision Making

Have strong personality & ability to take decisions which are in the interest of the project & the company.
