Job Description

To manage the sales for OT lights, tables and pendants to generate operating profits for Surgmed division. Financial Responsibility: To achieve budget figures for Surgical division and overall for Surgmed division as well. Impact: Multiple work groups Errors: The Immediate work group Complexity: Governed by the broad instructions, objectives and policies. Requiring judgment in applying established practices, procedures and approaches.
Independence: Take individual initiative in planning and performing for weeks at a time

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in various Tenders for OT lights, pendants and tables. Scrubbing with customers technical assistance with respect to equipment handling, applications and precautions in operating room To control inventory levels to minimize the investment cost. To plan and control the profit margins for entire range of products. To plan marketing costs for customer training for new products. To formulate strategy for product positioning for tender businesses. Keep track of tenders; keep in touch with end-users, Bio Medical Engineers, Purchase and Stores Departments in various Hospitals. Conduct sales promotional activities like product demonstrations and presentations. Order execution, price negotiations with principals/customers, monitor deliveries of items, monitor internal co-ordination. Should have project management skills.

Essential Job Knowledge & Skills
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to the management. Numerical Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions. Planning Skills: Prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments. Computer Skills: Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
