Job Description

To work as Associate Director of Sales for this Luxury Boutique Resort at their HO in Mumbai . This is a new resort, currently in the final stages of project completion. It has designed and built to international brand standard specifications and is perfectly tailored for its served market. This resort will raise the bar for product and service in a well developed market near Mumbai. The Owners are clear about the premium positioning of this property and its long term business potential. As Associate Director of Sales ( reporting to the General Manager ) you will build the Sales Team for the resort in Mumbai and Pune. You will lead, train and direct the Sales Function in its entirety and be responsible for systematic Sales efforts in both these markets. You will be responsible for achievement of financial targets for the fiscal year. You will ensure adequate contribution from various segments such as FIT Rooms, GIT, Conferences, Weddings and other Social Catering.
Desired Profile You are a graduate in any discipline from a reputed institute in India or Overseas. You may have secured a post graduate qualification such as an MBA or PGDM in Sales and Marketing. You have been working in the Hotel Sales Function in the Mumbai Market. You are very well versed with selling to Corporate Clients, Travel Trade, Wedding Planners and Social Catering & Event Organisers. You have been working for a minimum of 10 years in the Mumbai market and are very well networked with key decision makers and influencers. You are computer savvy and conversant with tools like Exposure to the Resort Market in and around Mumbai will be an added advantage. You are a resident of Mumbai.
