Job Description

Will be performing weekend and weekday safety inspections on Rail and Transit Projects.
Will oversee the contractor form a safety perspective on Rail and Transit Projects.
Responsible for writing weekly and daily safety reports.
Reviewing the contractor safety program and ensuring the contractor is following the safety program
Ensuring contractor is following OSHA and NYC Transit safety standard.
Responsible for incident reporting.

Candidate Specification

Previous Safety/Construction Management
experience working with public agencies on rail or transit projects.
Should have experience with overseeing rail or transit projects for a Safety Management perspective.
Minimum of 15+ years' relevant experience in the infrastructure engineering industry related to Safety.
Education Required A Bachelors Degree or other appropriate degree required
Good written and oral communication skills
