Job Description


1) Admin/Operations for Planning Modules

Maintenance of Central filing of Documentation for User Training Manuals and Functional and Technical Documents.
Managing Security Setup and User Administration in RPAS.
Managing Work Book rights and User Product Hierarchy level Mapping.
Managing Alternate Hierarchy Set Ups (EG Buyer Set Up to Alternate Prod hierarchy).
Managing Trading Calendar and Last week set up for the Group.
Understand progress and exceptions of batch Jobs and communicate any exceptions to the business.
Request re-runs of batch jobs where needed for Modules from DBA Team.
Ad hoc Restore request where needed by the Business Users.
Managing and communicating Module down time with Concepts where ad-hoc Runs need to take place.
Communicating with Concepts/Business on behalf of Central Planning for Group Roll ups of MFP at Group/Concept Levels.
Be Aware of Structure updates.
Be aware of Product Hierarchy Updates.
Be Aware of Release change control.

2) Systems Development and Maintenance for Planning Modules

Participate in discussions on Functional Design for all Projects
Participate in discussions on Technical Design for all Projects
Participate in Discussions on Interface Specs for all Projects
Be aware and understand Changes to coding and its effects to Functionality of Modules and communicate where needed to the Business Users
Be Aware of Changes to setups and it effect to the Functionality of Modules
Be aware of Changes to Views and its effect to functionality of Modules and communicate where needed to the Business Users
Be aware of Changes to Menus and its effect on the Functionality of Modules and communicate where needed to the Business Users
Be aware and assist in System upgrades-eg move to Windows 7/Fusion Client with Training and communication to the Users.

3) Training / Helpdesk for Planning Modules

Lead Support Role for the Central Planning Help Desk to analyse, allocate /monitor Help Desk Issues.
Trouble shooting from a Central Admin point of view as well as Users Queries.
Support to resolve any problems with regards to RPAS and Planning Modules with LMIT support and DBA teams.
Assist Project Manager/SME in Navigation and Formal user training for new and existing modules.
Assist with new business take on (New Modules and Roll outs).
