Basic design & detail engineering of pressure vessels such as reactors, columns, steam drums and heat exchangers of various MOC as per ASME code & other codes
Mechanical & thermal design, preparation, checking & approval of detailed manufacturing drawings & bill of material based on customer specifications & relevant codes for static process equipment like pressure vessels, columns, reactors & heat exchangers.
Preparation, checking & approval of material take off and ARMs for pressure vessels, reactors, columns, and heat exchangers
Review technical proposals & interact with customers during pre-order & post order stages on all aspects of engineering, drawing approvals, design deviations that may be required, due to non-availability of material, manufacturability / ease of manufacturing, cost / cycle time reductions
Provide technical support to marketing & estimation department during preparations of quotations / bidding.
Co-ordination during manufacturing & installation of equipment.
Oversee the assignments given to design engineers & draftsmen in the design team.
Experience in design & manufacturing of pressure vessels, reactors, columns & heat exchangers for refineries, petrochemicals, oil & gas, fertilizer and other core sectors of the industry
Hands on experience on drafting & design software packages like AutoCAD, PV Elite, HTRI and other programs for mechanical & thermal design of pressure vessels, reactors, columns & heat exchangers as per ASME & other codes.
Experience of Solid edge for solid modeling would be an added advantage.
Working experience of ERP Package in Engineering Data Management Area
Possess excellent analytical & technical skills, leadership quality and ability to work in team and possess a very good logical and reasoning mind.
