The primary objective is to enhance the value of the existing current account portfolio through cross-sell, leading to increase in fee income and generation of forex revenue, to add to that ensure acquisition of new clientele.
* Prospecting new customers to the Bank: Target clientele would be : Manufacturers / Traders / Importers / Exporters / Service Providers .
* Acquire new accounts from group companies / family of existing customers .
* Acquire new accounts from referrals from various channels.
* Prepare call plans prior to customer visits to establish objectives and explore customer needs with the aim of matching products with the Customer Value Proposition .
* Obtain required documentation and forward to CRM for review .
* CRM appraises the proposal and sanctions the lending limit.
* Post disbursement the relationship is handed over to the Branch RM
B. Relationship Building / Deepening / Cross Sell
* Responsible to ensure that credit applications for new facilities including renewals are correctly prepared in accordance to our guidelines.
* Continuously upgrade and innovate sales techniques to maximize productivity.
* Contribute towards the expansion of business opportunities in strategic target areas .
* Cross sell products of our bank i.e. Cash management, Salary accounts, Insurance products, FX , CA, TD and Investment Products and increase the share the wallet for allocated accounts .
* Provide regular feedback on the changing customer needs to the Product team and Service Quality team
C. Risk Management & Governance
* Ensure awareness and adherence with the Know Your Customer policy, Anti Money Laundering Policy, Mis-selling Policy, Information Protection Policy, Operational Risk, Code of Conduct and other laid down compliance norms of the bank as stipulated from time to time.
* To conduct all business activities in compliance with internal policies and external laws / regulations / guidelines .
* Any suspicious transaction to be immediately reported to the Area Manager.
The ideal candidate should have experience in acquiring clients in Assets from open market, own references and agencies. Good written and verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite.
