Job Description

Education & Skills:
An MBA (Marketing) is a must from at least a B grade Management Institute.
Good knowledge of Business Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Commercials, Trading, Channel Sales with specific exposure to Institutional Sales, Retail Sales, OEM Sales, Key Account Management in Delhi/NCR and parts of Northern India.
This will include empanelment with Government Projects like DGS & D i.e get specified Company products and finally raise business by contributing to both top line and bottom line.
Exposure in Retail sales for IHB will be an added advantage.
Man management and nurturing talent and passion for delivery should be engrained in the candidate.
Consistency of Performance is expected at all times.
Excellent communication skills and writing proficiency in English.
Pleasant disposition will be mandatory.
Good merchandizing skills.
Good Computer literacy and IT skills.
Good leadership skills. Capable of providing leadership, motivation and sales skill to his work force.
Should be willing to travel extensively.
Must be a self starter with a proven track record.
Exposure:
Sales & Marketing functions with reputed organization(s) in preferably Building Materials viz Stainless Steel durables likes Sinks and related products like Kitchen Chimneys, Stainless steel Fabricated consumer durable items, Faucets, Sanitary ware, , Modular Kitchen manufacturers and other influencers etc.
Experience of Developing Sales Strategies, New Markets, Distribution Network,.
Must be able to deliver stretched targets of both self and his assigned Regional Sales Target.
Scope:
Overall accountability of managing all functions of the Regional Business including Sales, Marketing, Finance & Commercials, Supply Chain, Man Management, Administration, etc with an objective of expanding the Business.
Requires minimal supervision.
Includes lead supervisory and managerial roles including new initiatives and strategies.

Job Responsibilities:
Managing overall functions of the Region with primary responsibility of business growth including providing leadership to all functions of the Regional Business.
Core responsibility will be to deliver the numbers and value as per budgeted target, Focus area will be Institutional Selling; Project Sales, Prescription selling through Architects, Consultants, Interior Designers, Mega Builders/ Infrastructure Promoters/ Builders/ Key accounts, Retail Sales, OEM Sales, Government and Quasi Government agencies ( Must know Tendering Procedures and Documentation etc)..Realisation of sales/ Recovery of outstandings/ BR as per aging analysis will be a key KRA/KPI. Should be willing to be held Accountable for both Self/Team performance and their Professional Development.
Exploring Business Development opportunities and making strategies to secure business growth through increasing products sales, market expansion both in terms of geography and volume, expanding products range, etc.
Will be overall responsible for profitability of the Region and its growth.
Ensuring Planning and executing new initiatives and strategies for expanding products market and growth and enhancing distribution width and depth.
Budgeting and goals/targets setting along with full Regional P & L responsibility.
Making strategy and its implementation to increase the profitability of the Company business.
Management of trading activities including liaising with vendors, commercials, sales vs returns, etc.
Strong in Client relationship management.
Strengthening existing dealer and distribution network and its augmentation.
Suggesting pricing structure on the basis of market inputs, including analyzing market intelligence on competition, trade, customer expectations, product features, etc and making the strategy.
Strategizing and continuous working towards brand building.
Monitoring region-wise and product-wise sales, analyzing results and making strategies.
Building a competent, cost effective, efficient and result oriented working system.
Decision making on commercial activities pertaining to pricing, credit policy, etc and its controlling.
Submitting regular DSR or any such report that is given as per mandate in the companys policy.
Keeping track of Market and Competitor trends of products in terms of demands, new products, pricing, etc.
Handling all administrative activities of the Region.
Any other work responsibility assigned from time to time
