Roles and Responsibilities:
Manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales goals within a region.
Sets short- and long-term sales strategies.
Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales Revenue.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
Designing and recommending sales and marketing programs and setting long- and short-term sales strategies.
Overseeing the sale of an organization's products or services in the region.
Sourcing and selecting resellers and other distributors. Recruiting new sales staff and participating in interviewing process.
Reviewing objectives of all internal sales people. Reviewing training requirements as necessary
Candidate should have a good idea about GIS software and should have sold such / or similar products in the marketplace across the country or Southern states of India. He should have experience working with OEMs or Sole Distributors in India.
