Job Description


To lead the region to deliver consistently high standards of customer service, operational excellence and business development while managing all resources and processes effectively including Manpower, capital assets, vendor relations etc.
We need a Senior leader with experience in handling multi-store Retail Operations to head the Regional operations. His role is deliver on Strategic objectives and vision to be the finest gourmet retailer of India.The role holder would be responsible for ensuring business growth through directing and leading business operations to ensure they are delivered in accordance with the strategic objectives.


OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE - Develop an environment with systems and processes in place which will enable and encourage business opportunities. Make efforts for better ordering, merchandising and suggestive selling of products, institutional sales to improve sales.

CUSTOMER CENTRICITY - Represent and reinforce the strategy and brand through maintaining the highest standards in visual merchandising and customer service.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT - To effectively induct, lead, manage, train and develop the team and groom store managers into leaders

DRIVE HIGHER MARGINS - Improve in store processes to reduce pilferage, discrepancies and loss of margins.

PLANNING and BUDGETING - Direct the annual budgeting and planning process for the region.


The retail operation and process adherence for the region.

New store Set up management
Inventory/Cost Controlling
Overall Business development of the region.
Profitability of the business
Statutory Compliance's like obtaining relevant licenses, registration under various authorities.
Employee Management (Development & motivation of people)
Coordination with various suppliers/vendors (Product and Schemes)
Customer queries and handling complaints
All financial matters in the store


Post Graduate in Business Administration/Retail is preferable but not necessary.
8-14 years of progressive experience in retail operations and should include minimum 2 years in a multi-store management role. Exceptional candidates may have lower experience.
Food and Grocery experience is preferable.
Should have prior experience in setting up new stores from Scratch.
Passion for excellence is absolutely critical.


Process and result orientation with exceptional execution skills.
Strong managerial skills required, ability to work independently
Initiative, leadership and team building skills are essential.
Must have strong commitment to customer and client service and a passion for retail and Gourmet.
Number crunching, Analytical and decision making skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, must have the ability to work in collaborative manner.
Ability to Prioritize multiple tasks and projects while maintaining deadlines and managing resources with little or no direction.
