Job Description

Job Purpose:

To be the face of PW in the region. Carry the P&L for the region, plan and carry out sales activities, so as to develop & acquire channel partners clients for People Works product to defined region, in accordance with agreed business plans.


Manage P&L for the designated region
Build & Nurture Channel Partners
Work with marketing team to build &strengthen brand in the region
Support CSM team to achieve organic growth in existing accounts

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Regional Business Plan for marketing & selling PeopleWorks in the designated region
Manage Profit & Loss for the assigned region
Be responsible for overall sales growth and market penetration
Meet stiff Sales & collection targets in the region, by exploring new ventures as individual & Team contributor
Capable of connecting to CxOs of large or midsize companies to ensure an impactful executive presentation
Capable of understanding a varied business vertical, current challenges & present a tailored solution including business benefits through transformation and substantiating the same with relevant ROI
A classic team player with capability to channelize strengths from Partner community & internal teams like Presales, Implementation, Support and so on, yet carry complete ownership on business
Competent to have a deep understanding of local market and share necessary inputs to assisting divisions like marketing, product management and so on.
Adroit in initiating and growing channel partners in the designated region to ensure PeopleWorks is a sustainable & profitable venture for partners.
Responsible for end-to-end sales cycle by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
Screens potential business deals, identifying client needs and goals, deal requirements and financials; evaluating options; resolving & recommending the appropriate solution
Track competition movement in the region
Maintain strong relationship with existing customers and nurture them produce strong references & upsell opportunities.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Demonstrate initiatives for refinement & strengthening of existing product

Desired Profile:

Min. 10-12 years experience of selling any ERP software (preferably HR software on Cloud model) to corporate / B2B to various industry verticals
Should have been managing Sales and leading a team on P&L Management for a SBU
Ready to travel extensively across the assigned region


A high caliber graduate, preferably MBA from a reputed institute.


Have skills to communicate and present to an CXO
Have strong drive for sales; demonstrate strong analytical, negotiation & closing skills
Good relationship management and networking skills
Know-how of Competitive products
Sales planning, Selling to customer needs, Market knowledge
Confident, self-driven, dynamic and loves to learn
