1) To acquire customers and achieve sales targets as per plan. Keep and Grow customers.
2) Achieve cost optimization and productivity standards.
3) Conduct Business reviews to monitor the performance against the sales plans and targets for the Sales and Distribution operations organization. Lead the Direct Sales, Stores and Mass Trade channels and provide clear objectives, daily tasks and functional responsibilities to the team.
4) Analyze market shares across verticals and product offerings and benchmarking against competition to devise strategies for achieving market leadership.
5) Take inputs from State Functional team for Trade Promotion, Engagement & Marketing activities, which in-clude rewards & recognition programs, loyalty programs, in/out shop promotions calendar.
6) Supervision of day-to-day operations of the Cluster.
7) Ensure adherence to all SOPs, statutory compliances (liaison with Govt. officials) & commercial controls.
8) Strategize and implement action to launch products and services.
9) Manage Customer life-cycle; ensure service delivery and product availability at network outlets.
10) Engage the customers through client engagement programs and being a consultant to them creating an excit-ing environment to maximize every customer visit.
11) To build an achievement oriented strong team of committed and motivated manpower.
12) To be involved in hiring and selection of Direct Sales channel partners, on-boarding and termination.
13) Facilitate development of team members by training and coaching team members on the job and grooming them for higher responsibilities.
14) Manage relationships with strategic partners to ensure steady pipeline of resources.
- Should have handled a team of more than 50 people, 100+ will be good
- Should have handled a revenue of 5 -10 Cr
- Should have handled traditional Channel sales (Kirana Stores) and also modern retail
- Should have good understanding of SCM and Logistics.
