The purpose of this job is to implement the penetration strategy for Western Africa, promoting and selling a variety of flavors to current or future customers.
Achieves the financial targeted sales for the area;
Contributes feedback to management on the market needs for future strategies;
Manages, motivates and guides local reportees with hierarchical/functional directions;
Optimizes sales force customer coverage in line with Selective, Focus and Global Key Accounts requirements;
Develops and sustains productive customer relationships;
Drives efficient project management & vitality in line with Operational Rules and Client Segmentation;
Active communication with Zone Marketing, Technical and other support functions;
Participates and contributes to the local management team;
Develops sales strategies in order to satisfy business objectives, as well as to maximize sales opportunities;
Provides clients with general and specific information regarding the use of flavors in food / beverage and product development;
Conducts customer presentations and submits flavor concepts and interact with customers and Marketing Teams;
Identifies requirements in Consumer Insights and communicates them plan;
Keeps abreast of competitive activities, prices, and develops and exploits new business opportunities within existing clients as well as new clients;
Ensures that administrative functions such as itineraries, expense and call reports, etc., are accurately maintained;
Must have the experience in FOOD/ FOOD INGREDIENTS/ FLAVORS ETC., AFRICAN EXPERIENCE IS A MUST..
