Job Description

Location : MP

Reports to: Regional Head RIBG

Positions Reporting to Role: Sales Manager FE

Job Role and Responsibilities:
  • Promote new and used agricultural products to customers
  • Drive sales of farm equipment through a team of sales managers
  • Ensure completion and process for all sales, finance and rental documentation
  • Build an expert understanding in products and services offered
  • Tap large cooperative farm groups and agricultural dealers who market the products to individual farms
  • Maximize the sales within the region
  • Analyze sales opportunities, solve customer problems and design sales promotions
  • Handle audit and compliance related issues
  • Develop business and maintain client relation
  • Monitor competitive activity and products
  • Maintain relationship with existing customers or dealers

Deliverables:
  • Responsible to generate sales through team of Sales Managers
  • Build relationship with the dealers and ensure retail business through them
  • Manage collections and ensuring delinquencies are under control for the area
  • Conduct business transactions
  • Conduct sales training for the team
  • Help the team to generate sales leads
  • Keep abreast with market trends, needs, and new companies cropping up
  • Maintain customer relationship
  • Supervise key areas including Marketing, Business Channel Development, Team Development, Cost Management, Revenue Generation, Cross Sell
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to recommend suitable products to dealers and farmers according to their needs
  • Proper knowledge of the product
  • Good understanding of the use of each product
  • Good understanding of federal and state legislation relating to the use of pesticides, food supplements
  • Accepts responsibility for actions and results
  • General administration
  • Management, sales and service oriented
  • Strong network within and outside the branch
  • Ability to lead and guide a team to help achieve business targets

Educational Qualification:
Graduate/ Post-Graduate
