Job Description

Job Descriptions:

HP Quality Center Administrator (HP QC) with 6 - 10 Years of hands-on design/ build application experience to implement a proof-of-concept idea to support a consistent, enterprise-wide testing strategy for our Applications. (2+Yrs on HP QC Admin Exp is a mandate)

The candidate must be an expert utilizing HP QC to analyze, design, build, and implement new processes. A thorough knowledge of the requirements, project, defect, and dashboard/reporting modules is essential to this position to support the project which includes, but is not limited to the following tasks:

Administrative tasks for designing and implementing HP QC Functionality

Experience implementing new functionality in HP QC

Setting up roles permissions for QC users

Designing and developing workflows and configurations

Identifying, documenting, and building the requirements module for business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements

Experience with requirements development and requirements management

Experience developing requirements traceability hierarchy strategy

Customization developing templates and reports / dashboards

Loading test cases in HP QC

Designing and building unit, smoke, black box, string templates and maintenance strategies

Customizing within the dashboard/reporting module

Understanding of the HP QC risk assignment functionality

Understanding of SQL Queries

Understanding of ODBC

Knowledge of HP Sprinter Functionality

Project administration tasks for designing and implementing HP QC Functionality

Identify, analyze, and mitigate project and operational risks

Plan, develop and document testing procedures

Creating a solution vision and design framework for leading technical support during the project

Experience in leading initiatives/projects for use with HP QC

Ability to coordinate activities with various technical teams (network, database, architecture) to structure solutions and resolve issues

Experience with issues management, action item tracking, status reporting

Experience identifying and resolving system issues and bugs

Experience creating flow diagrams

Experience documenting all aspects of functional testing and requirements mapping

Coordinating the creation and execution of test plans

Ensure adequate data preparation/build for testing events
