Job Description

Responsibility for series audit in engine assembly, resolution description for internal customer complaints and engine audit testing.
Quality management system
Q-Release (PPAP)for engine assembly processes.
Lead PFMEA team for engine assembly processes and initiate improvements.
Plan and Conduct the Process and Product release as part of Change management during Series Production Engine Assembly production and Control plan maintenance.
Conduct process capability study for critical processes and initiate continual improvement.
Conduct Measurement System analysis for defined gauges, instruments
QFL 2 & 3 reporting and monitoring through MES.
Training the associates for quality gate inspection.
Issue resolution & Non-conforming parts handling.
Resolution of engine assembly complaints
Investigation on product and process audit quality issues.
Investigation of internal customer complaints by interacting with Vehicle QA, R&D and Production.
Major issues registration and tracking through ZEUS.
Clearing the line rejections by leading red table.
Support to production/PQ for part quality issues resolution.
Report to engine system team meeting for line quality issues.
Leading, motivating and guiding the QA- Engine team.
Ensure a target-oriented internal communication and a monitoring by means of target
agreements and performance evaluations.
Assure an employee and task-related qualification. Making sure that the goals agreed on
are accomplished.
Quality Management Systems
Support the implementation of ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management systems
Define and implement Procedures related to QA- Engine Assembly

Specific knowledge
Detailed knowledge of Quality Management systems and Quality Assurance processes, standards and tools.
Expertise in processes and systems in the product creation process, production and testing.
Strategic and conceptual competence, with ability to manage teams. Able to handle Customer and Supplier interactions.
Very good analytical ability and problem-solving skills with systematic approach.
Should have good communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
Exposure to multi-cultural environment is an advantage.
