Educational Qualifications:

BE / B Tech / MCA

Good To Have: MBA / Post Graduate

Exp before MBA:

At least 7-9 years of experience in the IT Industry
At least 2 years in software development (in practitioners role)
At least 3 years in Banking & Financial Services Industries
Must have experience of Dev-Ops and Agile methodologies
At least 2 years in Process Quality/Process Improvement roles
Experience in Managing a Function in a medium-sized IT organization
Experience in defining processes
Experience in conducting Internal Audits
Experience in managing Process Improvement initiatives
Experience in working in CMMI ML3 and ITIL-based process environments

Good To Have:

Experience in various roles in Software Development
Experience in conducting Process Assessments against multiple models and standards
Experience in Defect Prevention techniques and conducting Causal Analysis
Experience in conducting training on Quality Concepts and on Processes
Experience in Process Tool selection and Implementation
Experience in implementing Organization Change Management Initiatives

Key Responsibilities:


Well versed with Agile and Dev-Ops concepts & techniques
Certification on Agile techniques such as Certified Scrum Master(CSM) and knowledge of advanced Agile practices
Knowledge of models and standards such as CMMI, and ISO 9001
Good knowledge of the QMS
Knowledge of various SDLC models
Knowledge of the 7 QC tools and Peer Review techniques
Knowledge of Project Management concepts, Estimation methods, Measurement & Analysis
Awareness of Organization Change Management Techniques
Awareness of various Process Tools
Excellent knowledge on basic Quality Concepts and terminology
Awareness of Six Sigma methodologies such as DMAIC & DFSSPMI or PRINCE2 certification

Good To Have:

Awareness of Information Security standards such as ISO 27001
Knowledge of Balanced Scorecard
Knowledge of Statistical Techniques
Knowledge of TQM and Lean concepts
GB/BB certification

Expectation from Candidates:

Defining the objectives for the EPG function for Software Development & Application maintenance area, based on inputs from NSETECH Senior management and preparing a plan to realize them.
Planning and managing the EPG activities to meet the Objectives set.
Identifying the required competencies to staff the EPG Function based on the needs of the NSETECH Organization.
Enlisting support for EPG Initiatives
Internal communication/reporting on EPG activities
Tracking and reporting on process performance to Senior Management
Reviewing process improvement proposals, Process/ tool deployment plan preparation, reviewing the deployment report and for instituting changes.
The SPI plan creation, periodic reviews and updates.
Preparing and updating the EPG plan to manage the EPG activities.
Timely escalations on non-compliance, issues, risks and process performance to Head Tech BEx
Ensuring continual improvement of the EPG processes
Sending out Process Change information and Process Release Notes
scheduling and conducting EPG meetings
