Job Description

Receive, estimate, negotiate and issue changes (variances)
Process Monthly RA Bills of all Contractors.
Certify the measurement of Civil, MEP and External Works.
Analysis of Variation Orders
Verify Contractors Monthly Work in Progress figures on applications for payment and certify the Progress Payment Certificate
Verifying the Bar Bending Schedule
Conducting regular reviews with owner, cost consultant, other consultants and contractors to follow up on cost issues.
Releasing reports that shall include cost to completion against budget, variance reports, trends cash flow programmes contingency status and forecasts for review.
Payment procedures, full checking of contractors bills and certifying payment.
Tracking and reporting on budget variations and cash flows.
Monitoring the value of the changes, obtaining the approval of the owner and working towards achieving agreement with consultants and/or contractors and maintaining registers of variations (both issued and under consideration), including details of approval status and estimated agreed cost.
Coordinating and monitoring the contract change order process and arranging for the other Consultants to furnish the Owner with all necessary substantiation of proposed variation orders in order to obtain timely approval and also overseeing that the other Consultants provide advice together with recommendations in a timely manner in relation to variations submitted by the Contractors under the construction contracts.
Evaluating, analysing and reviewing all contemplated variations in collaboration with the concerned Consultants for cost and time impact to identify the extent of financial exposure.
Maintaining a log of major materials supplied by the Owner to contractors but excluding store management.
Tracking procurement and adherence of procurement to specifications/shop drawings as applicable.
Coordinate Inspection & Testing Schedules and reporting including reviewing and approving Contractor's ITPs (Inspection & Testing Plans). Subsequently, the Consultant shall monitor records of tests made and make recommendations for other actions deemed necessary to ensure conformity with the inspection and testing requirements under the construction contract documents.
