Excellent communication skills (not just the ability speak clearly, but the ability to clearly communicate a vision or the reason why were doing something)
An understanding of Qlik architecture best practices and the ability to adapt those best practices to a cloud environment (It should happen in QVDs, but there should be a source layer, a transformation layer and a presentation layer)
An understanding of visualization best practices. I.e. When do you use a line chart vs a scatter plot etc. (if they dont have a good explanation for why theyre using a specific chart, they could lose credibility with the business)
Excellent QlikSense development experience. QlikSense is fairly new, so if they dont have QlikSense experience, excellent QlikView experience and the ability to learn very quickly (QlikSense is actually pretty different than QlikView. Dont under estimate the learning curve)
A good understanding of Qlik security. SSO integration, section access, etc.
Experience leading a team.
Familiarity with Windows administration is helpful
Familiarity with other BI / ETL / DW tools is helpful
