Job Description

Handle contract purchases and monitor the commodity markets regularly and plan purchases to derive maximum benefit, ensure competitive rates, credit terms and timely payments.
Develop and implement local roadmap to ensure development of local procurement function: increase spend coverage, optimize procurement process and ensure compliance.
Maintain Relations with vendors/ suppliers, develop new ones, carry out regular supplier evaluation and audits to ensure right quality
Material requirement planning, ensure that there is no stock out at the same time just the optimum stock is maintained.
Co ordinate with Head Quarter Purchase team regularly and supervise day to day purchase activities of subordinates.
Prepare annual budgets, maintain MIS and send reports on a regular basis.
PGD, MBA in Materials Management/ SCM/ AgriBusiness / International Business with at least five years experience in purchase field in B-2-B or B-2-C markets,
Good communication verbal and written and negotiation skills
Thorough knowledge of commodity markets
Minimum 3 years work experience in Food Industry
Should have handled Contract purchases
Minimum two year work experience in middle/ senior level management with decision making responsibility.
